Thanks Ian for paying tribute to a wonderful talent who indeed was passed over in the rewards department.
I knew Etta James was ill, but hadn’t heard about her death, mostly because I avoid the mainstream news organizations. Another reason to celebrate and support wonderful bloggers like you.
May her spirit be surrounded by glorious music.
