Harper’s Canada: a world class denier

Did you feel as ashamed of our government as I did when Harper’s minister responsible for sprucing up the tar sands image (aka the environment) dumped Kyoto overboard this week?

Does anyone believe for a second that the Harper government has any intention of doing anything meaningful on climate change, ever?  2015?  Please spare me the BS on top of the insults.

Will the Greens and the Liberals ever realize that it is more important to stop Harper and begin to make some progress on climate change than it is to engage in the abstract exercise of finding the perfect climate change policy.

Okay, that sentence was too long.

But I am so tired of giving Harper an electoral free pass to do whatever he wants to the environment, just because no party has the perfect policy package to combat climate change.

The best thing we can do to fight climate change is back the party that has the best opportunity to defeat Harper and do something meaningful to reduce greenhouse gases, even if it’s not perfect.

The same goes for BC.  The fools who bought into the BC Liberal smoke and mirrors machine on climate change owe the rest of us.  It’s time to get behind the electoral alternative with a reasonable chance of winning government and doing something/anything positive for the environment.  And that ain’t the Greens.

Sorry for the rant.  It’s just that it’s been such a bad week for the environment… And with Christy Clark in BC and Harper in Ottawa it’s only going to get worse.

Not to mention the embarrassment of Attawapiskat and Harper’ shuddering initial response to it.

Then the permit to proceed with the Joselyn(SP?) development north of Fort Mac.

Lest we forget the contrived photo op for Harper for the perimeter security thing. I wonder why the used the word ‘perimeter’ instead of ‘border’. Could they really mean Deltaport, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Arctic access(Churchill)….sorta feels like we are being lassooed.

I don’t mind the rant Ian, but your double-triple alliteration left my tongue twisted….

“….perfect policy package to combat climate change.”

At the meeting on “climate change” in Durban, I couldn’t believe the gall of Harper, he actually tried to bully other country’s into accepting the dirty tar oil. Just another time of the many times, Harper has embarrassed Canadians. Other nations hate trying to deal with. He is known as a, petty gasbag, arrogant, stubborn, difficult to work with, and co-operates with no-one. Harper’s hissy fits, are getting tiresome. Sounds exactly right to me. He even lost Canada’s seat in the U.N.

Harper’s attitude towards the F.N. people all across this country, didn’t go unnoticed. Some country’s even offered donations, as did many Canadian people. Harper as any good sociopath dictator, shifted the blame onto the F.N. People themselves.

That fool is now forcing a, $1,300 per day, money manager on the F.N. If anyone should have money taken away from them, it’s Harper. Billions of our tax dollars, going to the wealthiest corporations in the world. Billions on his, wars, jets, a nuclear sub, armored vehicles, and utterly billions on his Stalags. The crime rate is way down.
$50 million on gazebo’s. $3 million on, one members traveling expenses. And, who can forget Harper’s, stupid billion dollar fake lake?

The border thing, is just another scam. Canada could be the largest state in the U.S.

If you read: Harper gives a speech in New York, at the Council of Foreign Relations…Sept 25/2007. The mud does become, a little more clear.

I know what you mean, like the $100 million paid every month to that money sucking hole of Canadian socialist leaning, the CBC. He should stop paying the CBC and let them fend for themselves until they start broadcasting stories which support the Right in this country, like Sun News does. Then start the $100 million a month payments again after that. I could not agree more.
