Here's the Plan

Soon, all this will be gone, son…

I know, I know… that sounds like a line of bad dialogue from some sparse western circa 1963 – Giant maybe but not the Misfits, definitely not the Misfits.

Have I ever mentioned the husband won’t watch old movies with me? The seventies, Chinatown, M.A.S.H. etc… forget it.  The Sixties even worse and then it goes downhill.  Oh well, I still have my memories Mr. DeMille…

Where the heck is this taking me?  Back to now.  Back to this blog…

Right, the blog.

It’s changing.  One blog to two blogs.

Reidandwrite.ca will be about stuff, general stuff like why my spine hurts and what the fantastic people at the Cancer clinic are doing to me to make it better, or Paul’s abhorrence of great old movies, or another trip etc…

And then there will be therealstory.ca about BC and Canadian politics.  And hopefully there will be real stories about politics on that site.  After all our Liberal friends are offering up so much material – the HST, lawsuits, Basi Virk, Gaming… the list goes on and on.  Everywhere you turn there’s a BC Liberal insider reaping turf in this province.

The Campbell government reminds me of the final scenes in Inception, the scenes where three worlds are simultaneously falling about the heroes’ heads.  Yes, that would be the Campbell government right now and the plan is to write about it on therealstory.ca.

Estimated timeline for all of this?  Shortly.

I’m looking forward to visiting and participating in therealstory.ca

This is just what we so sorely need in BC. Just look at today’s Vancouver Sun (Sat Aug 7). It’s a rag. It’s just whistling past the elephants in the room, to mix a few metaphors. The Victoria Times-Colonist is the same. Murders ‘r Us, should be their masthead.

We need real media. Your posting on attending the BC Rail government corruption trial was excellent. Pray tell, why don’t we see that sort of reporting from the so-called journalists in BC?

Maybe therealstory.ca can operate as a sort of Wikileaks-BC, that would be great.

    Cheers to you

Thanks so much for your great service. We need you so. Adrian L above mentioned the rags, and afterall, watching Global BC TV news is like watching Entertainment Tonight, with a little sprinkles of so-called news snippets sparsely scattered about here and there. It’s so shameful. So thanks again!
